I started becoming politically active and aware during the debacle of 2000. I strongly believe that the election was stolen by the extremist and corrupt right-wing interests, and I cannot fathom how any decent human being would vote for George W. Bush. Then to lose in 2004... it was another abomination. Even after proving himself to be corrupt, incompetant, and a liar, people still voted for him on some made up "moral" values, that have no bearing in their lives. It makes me ill. Everything I have said has come true: the Republicans are beginning to be exposed for the corrupt, deceitful lying bastards they are, the economy is in serious trouble, we are moving backwards as a nation in more ways than I care to count, and the world is a much more dangerous place... all because of the policies and actions of this sham of an administration.
